Introduction to Conexion School
Conexion School is an introductory mission training program that started at Korea CCC in June 2019. It combines over 40 years of Korea CCC's mission experience and vision to help churches speed up the mission movement.
The Conexion School logo is based on the Spanish word "Conexión," which means "connection." The strong 'X' shape spreading in four directions stands for the cross of Jesus Christ and represents the four connections listed below. The circle in the middle symbolizes the Holy Spirit, who connects all of these things.
Vision
To see churches and communities focus on the mission of global evangelization and helping fulfill the Great Commission, and to see each participant discovering their vision and mission
and living out missional lives through the Conexion School.
Purposes of Conexion School
Helping Missional Living:
We help each participant find their vision and mission so they can live a missional life, dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission right where they are.
Building Missional Communities:
We help churches and communities understand that mission is their main purpose. We help them become missional churches and communities that carry out the Great Commission.
FEATURES of Conexion School
Short and Clear Lectures
The lectures in Conexion School are modeled after TED talks' and each lesson does not exceed 40 minutes. Every session clearly conveys the content using around 40 slides of PowerPoint and videos.
Making Difficult Concepts Easy
Missions theories can be challenging for beginners.That's why Conexion School is designed in a way that even ordinary believers who are just beginning to show interest in missions can easily understand.
Verified Contents
Many of the contents of Conexion School have been newly and independently developed, and have been verified by theologians, missiologists, and leaders of mission organizations.
Engaging Program
Various games for icebreakers, Kahoot quizzes, and more have been included to add enjoyment. The learning methods are diverse, including lectures, discussions, workshops, and games.
Adult Learning Methods
Conexion School is composed of 50% theoretica lectures and 50% workshops, research presentations, and games. Workshops and research presentations conducted in small groups to enhance learning.
Life-transforming Training
Conexion School includes various workshops that can be applied and practiced in real lfe. Workshop tasks such as writing a personal mission statement and planning action points for missional living help participants apply the training to their lives.
Available for Online Operations
While Conexion School is more effective when conducted offline, it is designed so that it can be conducted in a hybrid format (online and offline) or entirely online.
Conexion School
Conexion School is a foundational missions training course inspired by Acts 1:8.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)
6 sessions, 15 hours in total; available both online and offline.
Mission Trip School Course
Conexion School is a training course designed for teams practically preparing for short-term missions, inspired by Acts 16:9. It is currently in the planning and preparation stage.
"During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, 'Come over to Macedonia and help us.'" (Acts 16:9)
8 sessions, 20 hours in total; offline recommended (online/offline hybrid available).
